|
The "Piece Concept" policy, more beneficial for customers than before, will enable Tunisair passengers to check in more bags free of charge depending on the destination and the cabin class:
PLEASE NOTE: the number of bags allowed in the hold is limited to 10 per passenger.

Your free baggage allowance must not exceed the allowed weight of 23 (50lb) or 32kg (70lb) according to your destination and your cabin class and the total dimensions (length+ width+ height) of each piece must not exceed 158 cm (62 inches).
If you are connecting to and from Europe/Africa/Middle-East/North America via Tunisia and on flights operated by Tunisair, you are allowed in Economy cabin to check in up to 02 bags free of charge as shown on the table below:

EXCESS BAGGAGE: |
|
If your baggage is weighing over 23kg (50lb), exceeding 158cm (62 inches) or is over the set number of pieces, excess charges will apply. The excess baggage fees vary according to your destination and the type of excess (overweight, dimensions or number of pieces)
The excess baggage fees are calculated on the basis of excess allowance charges, the number of additional pieces and the exceeding dimensions charges.
PLEASE NOTE: the number of bags allowed in the hold is limited to 10 per passenger.

A Prepaid Additional Baggage Option:
Passengers can purchase one Additional Baggage Allowance (prepaid service) if they are:
- departing from Tunisia to all destinations,
- departing from Europe and Morocco to Tunisia.
Thanks to this new option, passengers can purchase one Additional Baggage Allowance for lower fees than on their flight date.
Terms and conditions:
- Passengers are allowed to purchase only one prepaid additional baggage per flight.
- Date of purchase: 24 hours minimum before the flight.
- This option is applied for one piece of luggage weighing 23 Kg (50lb) maximum and with dimensions not exceeding 158 cm / 62 in (height + width + length > 158 cm / 62 in). If the additional baggage exceeds these limits, passengers will purchase additional baggage allowances at the airport.
- This option is not applied for animals traveling in the cabin or in the hold.
- This option is not applied for carrying sports equipment.
- This prepaid baggage allowance is exchangeable.
- This prepaid baggage allowance is not refundable.
- This prepaid baggage allowance is applied for 199 TUNISAIR ticket-holders.
- This prepaid baggage allowance is not applied for 199 ticket-holders flying foreign airlines or UG flights or traveling on code-share partner airlines.

The weight of a pet unit including the container is charged as excess baggage.
With the exception of assistance dogs accompanying disabled passengers, animals and their containers are not part of your free baggage allowance.

Passengers with reduced mobility are allowed to carry one wheelchair per person and/or other assisting devices they are dependent upon including POC (Personal Oxygen Concentrator). |

Babies and children paying a minimum of 50% of the adult fare benefit from the same adult baggage allowance. Babies that do not have a personal seat are allowed only one checked-in baggage of 10 kg (115cm) and one collapsible baby stroller, or one car-type child seat. |
With the exception of golfing equipment set (maximum weight of 15 kg), dry ice suits and ammunition, sporting equipment (Windsurf, Surfboard and Ski equipment) as well as bicycles are ruled by the same Piece Concept excess baggage charges. |

Passengers are not permitted to carry the following articles into security restricted areas and in cabin baggage.

Devices capable, or appearing capable, of being used

- Component parts of firearms, excluding telescopic sights,
- compressed air and CO2 guns, such as pistols, pellet guns, rifles and ball bearing guns,
- signal flare pistols and starter pistols,
- Bows, cross bows and arrows,
- Harpoon guns and spear guns,
- Slingshots and catapults;
